I went running over the weekend - just a quick one.

So unfortunately, I haven't made any race decisions yet... but I think I definitely want to shoot for the See Jane Run half since I haven't run that one yet.

Speaking of races... I have confirmed that the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge is 85% full, i.e. it is still open (hint, hint, Julianne and Joy!)

Today is the beginning of Lent. I know I'm supposed to be giving up something but really I am using this time to re-focus on taking better care of myself. Nothing major, just little things like drinking more water, adding more fruits and vegetables (as in - any!) to my diet, exercising more, doing some basic strength training moves while watching TV at night, going to bed earlier, getting to work earlier ... I guess you could say I'm giving up being a slug.

The "See Jane Run" race sounds fun!
GROAN! Why oh why do you do this to me? I was JUST thinking about how fun it would be to do Goofy, but talked myself out of it thinking that it's gotta be sold out by now.
I'm bringing it up with the fam again. I've mentioned it before, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
I need to get with the program on your Lent exercise too. Drink more water, eat more fruit...works for me!
I wish it was friday (actually friday at 5pm would be even better).
Have you thought about Nike or CIM? If we are in CA I might do Nike as a half. I'm definitely considering CIM since I could stay with my parents.

I did See Jane last year and it was lots of fun. Would do it again this year but am doing a relay that weekend, I think.
Wait, Julianne is thinking of going Goofy?! Will need to get on her case about that.
I got my confirmation for Goofy a little while back and am super excited about that!
