Bike ride in pictures

I really liked how joyRun posted pics from her runs so I thought I'd take some today during my bike ride this morning.

My go-to route for both running and biking is the Los Gatos Creek trail - it's really pretty and very close to where I live. Today was a gorgeous day (in the 70's!) so I decided to take the bike out (although it requires more preparation, it seems easier to motivate myself to bike vs run - these days at least). It was actually kind of chilly when I first started so it was interesting to see the wide assortment of apparel on the trail. Some runners were bundled up with long sleeves, running tights, gloves, and hats while I also spotted at least two men that were running in just shorts and no shirt!

Anyway, back to the trail... (pics courtesy of my iPhone)

A great view of Vasona Lake - one of the reasons I love living in this area!

This one isn't that interesting, just one of the many annoying mini hills on the trail that are short but inclined enough to get my heart rate up and to test my maneuvering skills as I weave in and out of gates and whatnot.

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Awesome pictures! I am so jealous...it was not in the 70s nor sunny here today.

Sounds like a great ride!

Hill? What hill? Don't you eat those for breakfast? Heehee.

Way to make us New Englanders jealous. Awesome.

Wow, that is SO beautiful. Especially the bright blue sky-- I could use some of that. At least now I can visualize it when I'm running in the dreary winter here!

Thanks for sharing. The iphone takes nice pictures. The weather has been delicious the last couple of days, huh? A little warm for my taste for running today but the sun is great.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I realized I did in fact make a mistake! LOL. I knew I saw one of the Harry Potter movies this past year, and thought it was that one. I can't keep them straight anymore! It might have been one I saw on DVD. ha.

Great pictures! I wish I had warmer temps for a ride outside!

What a pretty trail! Now, where is this again?? We were talking on Saturday how we need to make a trip down to South Bay to run with you! Man, that iPhone takes pretty darn good photos!

I loved your pictures! What a pretty day you had.

Thanks for the congrats on my race!

By the way, I am thinking about the Nike Women's Half Marathon, but was wondering if you would reccommend it. Also, you DO get the necklace for the half, right? I've heard some people say you only get it for the full marathon.

I'm not coordinated enough to carry a camera and not break it!

I am so jealous! Beautiful pictures in January. I could put pictures out of Michigan now, but all you would see is the snow and some grey.

I honestly can't wait for spring and all those great trails runs.

Best of luck with the running.
